Our Commitment to Sustainability

For Lanificio Brunetto Morganti & C., sustainability is not just a value but a guiding principle that informs every business decision. In an industry like textiles, historically associated with high environmental impact, the company has chosen to invest in technologies and processes designed to minimize waste and reduce the impact on natural resources, while maintaining exceptionally high quality standards.

fibre e materie prime 01

Fibers and Raw Materials

The selection of raw materials is the first step toward responsible production. We use natural fibers such as wool, cotton, and linen, sourced from suppliers who adhere to ethical and environmental standards, alongside industrial-origin fibers such as polyamide, polyester, and viscose, always prioritizing recycled versions or those from low-impact processes. This careful approach allows us to reduce the use of virgin resources and contribute to a more circular economy.

tecniche di lavorazione a basso impatto 01

Low-Impact Manufacturing Techniques

One of the most significant practices we adopt is the historic Carded technique, which allows textile waste to be transformed into new high-quality fibers. This process, certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), ensures the traceability of recycled material and compliance with strict environmental and social criteria. The use of the Carded technique significantly reduces water and energy consumption, preventing tons of material from ending up in landfills.

gestione responsabile delle risorse 04 01

Responsible Resource Management

Certamente. Se desideri sempre una traduzione letterale, ecco la versione del testo precedente che segue la struttura e il significato il più fedelmente possibile: "Our production cycle is designed to minimize the use of water, with systems of recirculation and purification that allow to reuse it multiple times before the discharge. The energy necessary to the production comes in large part from a photovoltaic plant of latest generation, which guarantees energy self-sufficiency and reduces the CO 2 emissions. Moreover, the heat generated from some machinery is recovered and re-employed in other phases of the process, avoiding waste.

coloranti e finissaggi ecocompatibili 02 01

Eco-compatible colorants and finishings

The attention to the environment continues in the dyeing and finishing phase, where low-impact colorants are used, free of harmful substances, compliant with the European REACH standards. This approach safeguards both the ecosystem and the health of the workers and of the final consumers.

trasparenza e tracciabilita 01

Transparency and traceability

All the production cycles are completely traceable and compliant with the international standards. Our resistant and legible labels offer to the consumer clear and verifiable information, in line with the most updated regulations and with the best practices of the sector.
